A single-stick vehicle pushed off a sea-borne cradle by compressed gas — a near-silent first move, engines lighting only at altitude over open water. The environmental argument starts here: small, cold, clean, and launched away from people.

A waste-to-energy plant with stack-top carbon capture, feeding a local grid that powers the spaceport and the surrounding neighbourhood. The launch is the spark; the goal is civic infrastructure that pays its own way and gives more back to the city than it takes.

Capture CO₂ at the plant stack, then put it to work: combined with green hydrogen through a Sabatier reactor, it becomes carbon-neutral e-methane — the same methalox the vehicle burns at altitude. Waste carbon becomes clean fuel instead of atmosphere.

Repurpose the old Navy Yard buildings and the powered platform for controlled-environment growing — food produced beside the energy that runs it, on land the city already has. Adaptive reuse over demolition: the greenest building is the one already standing.
